General Information

This programme trains students to become economic analysts / business economists. The content of the programme enables students to acquire quantitative and communication skills, to excel in the theory and application of economics reasoning, and to obtain a comprehensive and balanced knowledge in different areas of business economics. Graduates specializing in Business Economics will contribute to the business decision-making process of the enterprise.

Graduates with specialty in Business Economics can be employed in three main business categories: corporate business, trading and public utilities. Graduates are employed to analyze economic data efficiently and effectively, produce economic and business reports for use in investment and business decision-making. Employers look for business economics graduates with applied economic tools, knowledge on regional economies and skills that can be readily used in the daily business activities.
