General Requirements for JUPAS Applicants

Either

• E in 2 AL subjects, or
• E in 1 AL plus 2 AS subjects (excluding HKALE AS Use of English and Chinese Language & Culture).

English Language Requirement

E in HKALE AS UE

Chinese Language Requirement

Any one of the following:

• E in HKALE AS Chinese Language & Culture
• E in HKALE Chinese Language & Literature or Chinese Literature
• C in a language other than Chinese or English in HKCEE or GCSE

Mathematics Requirement

Any one of the following:

• D in HKCEE Additional Maths or Maths
• E in one of the following AS Level Subjects: Applied Maths, Further Maths, Maths and Statistics, Maths with Applications, Pure Maths, or Statistics
• E in AL Applied Maths or Further Maths or Pure Maths

Candidates holding equivalent local or overseas qualifications are welcome to apply. The application period begins in February of each year. Application materials can be obtained from the Registrar's Office, City University of Hong Kong, Tat Chee Avenue, Kowloon, Hong Kong.
