• Asian Develpoment Bank
  One faculty member advised Asian Development Bank on the feasibility of establishing mortgage-backed security market in Asia.

  The Department was invited by the bank of china Group to organize a short-term training programme on Derivatives and Risk Management" for its senior executives.
  
  
• Consumer Council of Hong Kong
  Five faculty members were involved in a consultancy project sponsored by the Consumer Council of Hong Kong concerning the Banking industry of Hong Kong.
  
  
• Hong Kong Monetary Authority
  The Department organized Professional Forex Dealers Training Programme", which was endorsed by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority and Hong Kong Forex Association. The programme was designed to provide training in international capital markets and foreign exchange dealing for Forex practitioners in Both China and Hong Kong. Also, it aimed to establish recognised standard dor the Forex profession.

  Some faculty members were appointed by the pacific Basin Economics Council as consultants on the project entitled "Administrative Barriers to Trade in Goods and Services".
