AC Students with Association of Women Accountants (Hong Kong) Limited 2014 Competition Miss Yang Qiu Yao and Ms. Hu Tianhong, both final-year BBAAC students, were declared winners of the 2014 Association of Women Accountants (Hong Kong) Limited (AWAHK) competition, with Miss Wong Hiu ching (BBAAMIS) receiving the second runner-up award, after competing against four other universities.

AWAHK is a not-for-profit professional organization. Its aim for the competition is to raise awareness among university students of the significance of female participation in the accounting profession. The competition also enables participating students were required to present a case or discussion on the topic of "Women in the Accounting Profession." During the final on September 17, shortlisted students gave their final presentations and took part in a 5-minute quest and answer sessions.

Winners received both an internship offer and a prize of HK$5000 as a token of recognition.
