Teaching of the coursework component will be conducted by academic staff of the College of Business as well as by other renowned local and overseas visiting academic staff members so as to give students an international perspective.
To ensure that a DBA candidate can progress smoothly from the coursework component to the thesis component, each candidate will be assigned a mentor in his/her first year of study according to the areas of interest indicated by the student. The mentor will be an academic staff member of the College of Business and will normally be the candidate's thesis supervisor.
Under the guidance of the mentor/supervisor, a DBA candidate is expected to develop a structured programme of study, which will lead him/her to identify his/her topic for the thesis and to develop his/her own thesis proposal.
