This programme prepares students for key financial management positions in the industrial, commercial, financial and governmental sectors. Students are provided rigorous training in asset valuation, financial management, portfolio management, risk management of financial Institutions, derivatives, economics, methodological tools, quantitative methods, and accounting. Graduates of this program apply their knowledge and skills to advise clients of financial institutions on raising debt and equity, portfolio and fund management, IPOs, M&A, etc. They are also able to apply their analytical ability to handle financial and investment decision-making for non-financial corporations. With our comprehensive and balanced education, students learn to make competent financial decisions.

Career Prospects

There is a great demand for graduates with expert finance knowledge in Hong Kong and Mainland China. Financial executives make key decisions on matters such as evaluating investments in Mainland China, raising capital, initial public offerings, valuing securities, managing risks for financial institutions and corporations, financial advising for wealthy clients, managing funds and portfolios, institutional sales of securities and performing Treasury functions.
