EMBA Association Charity Dinner 2017


The City University of Hong Kong EMBA Association (EMBAA) held a charity dinner on 22nd April. More than 200 guests including a number of Guests of Honour, EMBA students, alumni, business leaders and faculty members were invited to join the charity dinner.

Themed “20 Years Transformation With You” (昇華二十、淵德永耀) to celebrate the 20th anniversary of CityU EMBA programme, Mr Paul Chow, Independent Non-executive Director of CITIC Limited, Former Chairman of Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company Limited, Former CE of HKEX; Mr Wing-ching Shih, Founder and Chairman of Centaline Group and am730 newspaper, Dr Yan-chong Chan, renowned economist & investment expert and Director of Au Chan Investment Ltd; and Dr Haywood Cheung, President of The Chinese Gold & Silver Exchange Society and alumni of DBA and EMBA, discussed economic development and property trend of Hong Kong.

Apart from the sharing by business leaders, a charity auction was held to raise funds for the CityU EMBAA Charity Trust. More than HK$700,000 was raised in the auction. 

Mr Herman Hu, Chairman of CityU Council, presented souvenirs to all the supporting parties including, Diamond sponsors: Mr Adam Lee, Mr Harton Ma, and Gransing Financial Holdings Ltd; Platinum sponsors: Ms Cissy Wang and Imperium Financial Group; Gold sponsors: Mr Gabriel Au, Ms Elsa Keung, Mr Peter Cheng, Glory Sky Group, and Target Insurance; Prizes sponsors: Ms Florence Ng, Qianhai Health Holdings Ltd, and Ingrid Millet.

Established in August 2000, the City University of Hong Kong EMBA Association provides a platform for EMBA learning partners to share and learn from the experience of other professionals.
