Honourable guest Mr Paul Chow Man-yiu presents at CEO Forum

The College of Business invited Mr Paul Chow Man-yiu, GBS, SBS, JP, Chairman of Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company Limited, to share insights on the financial services markets with CityU postgraduate students at Academic 3 on 24th November.

Over 60 Doctor of Business Administration (DBA), Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA), and MBA  students attended the forum.

Students actively participated in the Q&A session following the sharing. Dr Xueping Wu, Associate Director of DBA, presented a gift to Mr Chow as a token of appreciation.

About the speaker

Mr Paul Chow retired as Chief Executive and Executive Director of  Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited in mid-January 2010. Prior to that, he was Chief Executive of Asia Pacific (ex-Japan) Region of HSBC Asset Management Limited between April 1997 and April 2003, Chief Executive of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited between October 1991 and January 1997, and Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Securities Clearing Company Limited between January 1990 and October 1991.

Mr Chow is currently Chairman of Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company Limited, a member of the Steering Committee of Innovation and Technology of the Hong Kong Government, an INED of the Bank of China, and an INED of China Mobile Company Limited.
