CEO Forum invites financial experts to discuss developments on RMB internationalisation

The College Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) programme and the Association of China Trend Studies (HK) jointly hosted a forum on the latest developments of RMB internationalisation on 20th May.

Entitled “RMB Internationalisation: Challenges in the FOREX and Gold Market”, the forum featured two veteran financial experts, Mr Benny Luk King-sang, Regional CEO North Asia of  ICAP Group, and Dr Haywood Cheung, Permanent Honorary President of The Chinese Gold and Silver Exchange Society.

During the forum, Mr Luk and Dr Cheung shared the background and functions of international currency, foreign exchange and gold market. They also forecasted the future development in forex trading amid the recent RMB internationalisation initiatives.

The forum ended with a panel discussion, moderated by Prof Kin-keung Lai, Chair Professor of the Department of Management Sciences.
