Ir Ng Cheung Shing, Founder and Chairman of Computer And Technologies Holdings Ltd (SEHK:0064) has visited CityU and shared with MBA students his career insights in becoming an entrepreneur in the IT sector. Graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Manchester, Ir Ng has worked for a number of top companies including Sun Hung Kai and Hewlett Packard. He then founded his own business in the IT sector in 1991, namely, Computer And Technologies Holdings Ltd, which is listed on Hong Kong Stock Exchange (SEHK:0064), employing over 400 IT professionals in Hong Kong and Mainland China.
At the forum, Ir Ng has frankly and openly shared his experience and stories of taking an idea and turning it into a successful business model, the driving forces behind, what he learnt, what worked for him and what others can learn from his experience.
