We believe technology advancement and business innovation are interrelated. To facilitate the knowledge flow between the business sector and students, CityU MBA invited industry partners and professionals to arrange a series of activities for the contestants from January to March 2018, including tech talks, iOS coding workshops and coaching sessions, where the contestants could learn coding in Swift, an intuitive programming language developed by Apple and acquire real-life experiences through sharing by the professionals. The Contest prizes were sponsored by IEEE Hong Kong Computer Society and CM Securities Holdings.

Together with the engaged industry partners and contestants, the 2018 CityU App Innovation Contest was more than just a competition, but an invaluable platform to accelerate the transmission and transformation of knowledge and to stimulate the application of innovation.
