The Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) programme hosted the Orientation and Residential Workshop I from 26th to 28th August in Macau.
The new learning partners of the DBA programme, faculty members and guest speakers from previous cohorts attended the trip.
Prof Muammer Ozer, Director of the DBA Programme, kicked off the orientation by a welcoming speech. Dr Xueping Wu, Associate Director of the DBA Programme, gave a presentation on course and administrative matters.
During the intensive workshop, Prof Ozer introduced the research process and highlighted the critical aspects of generating high quality research. In addition, faculty members from the different departments of the College presented research samples from their disciplines. The six departmental representatives included:
In the guest speakers sharing session, three current learning partners, Mr Ashish Chand from 2015, Mr Alex Fong from 2014, and Mr Joel Ma from 2013, as well as 2014 alumnus Dr Toa Charm, shared their insights and experiences in their DBA journey.
The orientation programme concluded fruitfully, motivating the new learning partners to better prepare for the coming challenges, and to embrace their new DBA journey ahead.
