Honorary Fellow Presentation Ceremony 2016

Six distinguished persons were conferred the title of Honorary Fellow of City University of Hong Kong on 21st September, in recognition of their outstanding achievements and distinctive contributions to the development of the University. Mr Herman Hu Shao-ming, Chairman of the Council, and Prof Way Kuo, University President, officiated at the ceremony.

The Honorary Fellows are:

• Mr Winfred Chan Hon-pun, Director of Happy Brave Trading Co Ltd & Whitby Sun Sun Ltd
• Ms Shirley Chan Suk-ling, Vice-Chairman of YGM Trading Ltd & Director of Yangtzekiang Garment Ltd
• Ms Dilys Chau Suet-fung, Partner of Ernst & Young
• Dr Haywood Cheung, Chairman and Executive Director of Target Insurance (Holdings) Limited
• Prof Michael Kotlikoff, Provost of Cornell University
• Ir Dr the Hon Lo Wai-kwok, Member of the Legislative Council representing the Engineering Functional Constituency

Among the six, Ms Dilys Chau and Dr Haywood Cheung are alumni of the College of Business. The College expresses our heartiest congratulations to Ms Chau and Dr Cheung.
