CB hosts first Business Career Fair for students to meet potential employers

Students at the College of Business had a valuable opportunity to explore future career options and meet with potential employers at the Business Career Fair held on 28th September.

The Business Career Fair, organised by the Career Services Team of the College, served as a platform for students to learn the latest market information and job opportunities from industry professionals and company representatives. The Fair was solely prepared for business students, who were able to meet face-to-face with 20 employers from different business organisations.

In his opening remarks, Prof William Wan, Associate Dean (Research and Faculty), thanked all the business partners to participate in the College’s first Business Career Fair. He hoped that the event could allow potential employers to meet with the students, and to learn the recent developments of the College; whereas the students could understand better about the industry, and to present the best of them to their future employers.

Mr Albert Ip Yuk-keung, Adjunct Professor and member of the College International Advisory Board, said in his address that he was impressed by the good quality and talents of the College students.  In his past five years’ experience served as the College Career Advisor, Mr Ip has worked with a large number of students, who displayed excellent characters and qualities. He believed that students and graduates from the College would be able to take up competitive internship and full time positions in the business sector.

The College would like to express its gratitude to all the participating companies, which set up information booths to introduce their company and share market updates to the students. The companies included:
