CB hosts media luncheon to introduce undergraduate programme development

The College of Business hosted a media luncheon on 9th May to introduce the latest development of its undergraduate programme.
Guest speaker Dr Lawrence Cheung Chi-chong, Director (Technology Development) of Hong Kong Productivity Council, said in his keynote address that nurturing talents who have knowledge in areas such as e-commerce, sustainability, intelligent operation, and social innovation, etc. will be the key for Hong Kong to develop as a smart city.

Dr Weiquan Wang, Associate Dean (Undergraduate Programmes) of the College, highlighted that the undergraduate programme aims to enhance students’ competence in the four major areas of digital capability, cultural understanding and integration, innovation and entrepreneurship, and social sustainability. He encouraged students to actively participate in different kinds of activities including overseas exchange and external competitions while they are in the university.
