EMBA students surpass themselves and win prize in Gobi Challenge

Three student teams of Executive Master of Business Administration (Chinese) (EMBA (Chinese)) programme have completed the 12th School of Business - Xuanzang Road Gobi Challenge (玄奘之路第十二屆商學院戈壁挑戰賽), held from 20th to 25th May. It was the third year CityU participating in this event. The students showed strong power of endurance to push their limit and succeed in the challenge. They bought home again the “Best Endeavour Prize” and the “Shackleton Prize”.

More than 2,500 EMBA students from 57 business schools took part in the four-day endurance footrace, which included a warm-up trek on the first day and competition races in the next three days. Participants were required to finish the full course of 112km in the uninhabited Gobi Desert, tolerating the temperature difference of 40 degrees between day and night and overcoming unexpected challenges during the journey.
