EMBA (Chinese) hosts forum on strategic cost management

Titled “Cost Management for Global Competitiveness”, Prof Hsihui Chang, KPMG Professor of Accounting, Drexel University, shared in the forum hosted by the Executive Master of Business Administration (Chinese) (EMBA (Chinese)) programme on 6th July.

In the seminar, Prof Chang introduced factors influencing modern cost management systems. He highlighted that the intense global competition, rapid innovation in the information age, the significant changes in the cost structure, and the change in management style, etc. reshape the traditional functions of operations and cost control, and strategic management.

Prof Chang is currently a professor of accounting at LeBow College of Business, Drexel University. His areas of expertise are audit quality, corporate disclosure, cost management, information technology and performance measurement.
