CityU-UC Berkeley Advanced Management Programme 2017

A group of 17 participants from the College of Business MBA, EMBA, DBA and other taught postgraduate programmes attended a five-day Advanced Management Programme “Innovative Management for Global Business” at UC Berkeley in the United States, from 24th to 28th July. Since 2008, the College has formed partnership with the Haas School of Business, University of California at Berkeley, to organise an annual executive programme for its postgraduate students.

The programme aims to offer senior executives a platform to refresh their management skills, acquire new knowledge and network with other professionals from diversified backgrounds. This year, the programme provided on-campus classes on topics such as business strategies, entrepreneurship and innovation, global supply chain management, etc. It also included team workshops and presentations, and corporate visits to Google, Target Brands, and Autodesk.

The CityU-UC Berkeley Advanced Management Programme is an annual summer workshop targeted to senior executives and professionals. Participants from the College’s MBA, EMBA, DBA and other taught postgraduate programmes will have an opportunity to gain global exposure and learning experience at the UC Berkeley campus.
