Reform and Innovation Orientation for Chinese Entrepreneurs

The College of Business’s Executive Education provided a tailor-made executive training to the management of the Organisation Department of the Communist Party of China Sichuan Provincial Committee from 4th - 8th December. Entitled “Reform and Innovation Orientation for Chinese Entrepreneurs”, the five-day programme addressed topics such as corporate finance and governance, overseas mergers and acquisitions, public-private-partnership practice model, offshore finance, and the use of social media in corporations, etc.

A number of lectures were presented by the College’s faculty members, including Prof Houmin Yan, Dean of the College, Prof Wenyu Dou, Associate Dean (Graduate Programmes), Prof Wayne Yu, Assistant Dean (Executive Education), and Dr Dou Hau Fung, and Dr Wilson Chan, both Adjunct Professors, and external guests Dr Yiu Yiu Butt, and a representative from China Everbright Bank (Hong Kong Branch).    

The delegation also visited the Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company Limited and Hong Kong Trade Development Council.
