DBA holds Residential Workshop in Macau

The Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) Programme has organised Residential Workshop II from 11th to 13th May in Macau.

Led by Prof Muammer Ozer, Director of the DBA Programme, and Dr Sidney Leung, Associate Director; learning partners from the 2015 and 2016 cohorts were guided in preparing their thesis proposals during the workshop. They were briefed on the important aspects of writing their thesis, and were divided into groups to conduct oral presentations. The learning partners received feedback from faculty members and fellow students.

Apart from Prof Ozer and Dr Leung, other faculty members who facilitated in the group presentations and provided advice were:

  • Prof Choon Ling Sia, Head and Professor of the Department of Information Systems
  • Dr Wei Thoo Yue, Associate Head and Associate Professor of the Department of Information Systems
  • Dr Yanni Yan, Associate Professor of the Department of Marketing
  • Dr Becky Kwan, Associate Professor of the Department of English
  • Dr Biying Shou, Associate Professor of the Department of Management Sciences
  • Dr Wonsang Ryu, Assistant Professor of the Department of Management

The residential workshop also invited DBA alumni, Dr CK Chan (2015), Dr Francis Cheng (2015) and learning partner from the 2015 cohort, Ms Monica Tang, to share their experience and tips in preparing thesis proposals and their journey in committing to the programme.
