Appointment of Associate Deans

I am pleased to be able to announce the appointment of Prof Wang Weiquan, Professor of the Department of Information Systems, as Associate Dean (Research and Faculty) and the appointment of Dr Raymond Wong, Associate Professor of Department of Accountancy, as Associate Dean (Undergraduate Programmes) with effect from 1 August 2018.

I would like to take this opportunity of thanking the outgoing Associate Dean, Prof William Wan, for his service and excellent work in this role. Prof Wan’s work has contributed significantly to CB’s record of research success over the past years, and I am very grateful to him for his meticulous stewardship of the research operation, and his extensive work on faculty appointment, recruitment and personnel decision making. At the same time, my special thanks to Prof Wang serving as the Associate Dean (Undergraduate Programmes) in the past three years (October 2015 to July 2018).

I am sure you will join me in welcoming Dr Wong to the CB Management team and that you will extend them every support in fulfilling the College’s important work.
