CB launches FinTech Certificate Programme

In response to the rising need of talents in financial technology, the College’s Business Career Development team has joined hands with CityU Apps Lab and Branding China Group to launch a FinTech Certificate Programme.

The newly established programme invited industry experts to host workshops on fintech and blockchain, with key topics including Python, blockchain applications, blockchain security, and Bitcoin etc.

Over 350 students expressed interest and 100 were shortlisted to join the workshops in September and October. Upon completion of attendance requirement and passing the test, students were given a certificate issued by the College. Many participants said they have learnt a lot from the professional speakers and informative course materials. The programme also has equipped them with practical knowledge and skills for future career development.
