Consul-General of Turkey speaks at CEO Forum

The Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) programme hosted a CEO Forum on 5 November. Mr Korhan Kemik, Consul-General of Turkey in Hong Kong, was invited to speak on the topic “Turkey’s Enterprising and Humanitarian Foreign Policy in a Challenging Global Setting”. Business partners, faculty members and students of the College attended the talk.

“Turkey is at the centre of a geography with massive transformation, and we are strengthening our ties with all geographies,” Mr Kemik started with explaining the transformation of the global order and talked about Turkey’s robust economic development. He also had an in-depth discussion on Turkey’s current foreign policies and strategic partnerships in different parts of the world. In the Q&A session, Mr Kemik exchanged with the audience on numerous geopolitical challenges surrounding the region.

Professor Muammer Ozer, Director of the CityU DBA programme, presented Mr Kemik a souvenir on behalf of the College.
