CB welcomes students from Petra Christian University

Over 20 undergraduate students of the International Business Management Programme at Petra Christian University from Indonesia visited the College of Business on 13th April. The students joined the tour as part of the programme’s excursion study.  

The one-week Hong Kong tour was themed “Shaping the World from the Chinese Way of Life”, led by Mr Lianto Darmawan, SE., MFM, Head of the International Business Management Programme.

Dr Wilson Chan and Ms Louanta Yeung, Assistant Programme Director and Business Manager of the MBA programme respectively, represented the College in greeting the students at Academic 3. Dr Chan then introduced the College’s background, taught postgraduate programmes, as well as teaching and learning support.

The College also invited Sheren Devina Soenario, a Year 2 BBA in Finance student from Indonesia, shared her experience studying at CityU and how she adapted to the lifestyle of Hong Kong. "As an international student, studying in Hong Kong is challenging yet interesting. Here is the place where I can see the world through a different perspective, with so many opportunities for me to enrich my university life," Sheren summarized.

The students showed interest in the College’s postgraduate programmes during the Q&A session. Souvenirs were exchanged at the end of the presentation as tokens of appreciation.

A campus tour visiting the teaching facilities, academic buildings, and classrooms guided by CityU student ambassadors was arranged before the visit ended.
