The programme is revised since 2003/04 and run every summer around end of May, with 24 students (first-year) in a 2-day-1-night camp setting outside campus.
Its objective is to orientate our first-year students to begin serious contemplations about their future and career directions by providing them with an understanding of today’s employment marketplace and the preliminary framework on how to plan better for their future careers now.
The Camp is designed to be structured, informative and dynamic. Speeches by industry/HR executives and our alumni, experience sharing, individual assessment and analysis, designing of career & action plans, etc. are the core of activities. Fun games will also be organised to lighten the Camp, and build the team spirit among participants.
The Camp consists of THREE major parts:
1. Workshops – Personal Inspiration and Development
2. Seminars - Career Direction and Planning
3. Presentations – Sharing Moments and Group Learning
The programme was well received by the participants last time. In particular, many of them appreciated the sessions of executive and alumni sharing.
