The Department of Management Sciences is committed to providing quality education for students studying in research degree programme. The Department offers two types of research degree programmes, namely, Master of Philosophy (MPhil) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), which consists of both coursework and independent research studies culminating in the submission of a thesis.

Aims

To provide advanced education to nurture people who can

  • Contribute to the advancement of knowledge through independent and original research;
  • Demonstrate knowledge in management sciences and a high level of transferable skills, including analytical, communication and leadership skills;
  • Enhance economic, social and cultural development.
