Our Faculty

The College of Business (CB) consists of 6 departments: Accountancy, Economics and Finance, Information Systems, Management, Management Sciences and Marketing.  Our faculty is made up of world-class scholars who earned their PhDs from the world's leading universities such as Stanford, MIT, UC Berkeley, U. of Pennsylvania, U. of Toronto, U. of Michigan, NYU, U. of Chicago and Northwestern U.

  • In the past five years, we have over 300 funded research projects from the government and various industries with a total amount of 188 million HKD (24 million USD).
  • CB is ranked 4th in Asia-Pacific region and 41st in the world among top business schools, based on publications in the most prestigious business academic journals (UTD business school research ranking).
  • Besides being outstanding researchers, we are dedicated supervisors who believe that the success of students is our greatest achievement. We are proud that our PhD graduates have great placements in both academia and industry.
