* Please note that all fees are subject to change. For presenters,
registration will not be accepted after November 13, 2009. Conference
registration will start in September/October, 2009. Registration fees can be paid online or
send by cheques(money orders). Cash payment will not be entertained. All payments will be made payable to the City
University of Hong Kong.
Registration principles:
-
Conference participants are supposed to register for
three-day programme. All requests for specific presentation date and time
will not be entertained.
-
Registration is not complete until the Conference
Secretariat has received your registration fees in full amount. For
presenters, once the payment deadline (Nov 13, 2009) is passed, all
papers from unpaid presenters will not be arranged in the conference programme.
-
Registered presenters will be
invited to chair a session and/or discuss a paper, as this promotes the
collegiality among the conference participants.
Session Organizers:
-
Session
organizers are entitled to a fee deduction of US$100 (HK$780), but the fee
deduction is not applicable to students.
-
Each organized session should have three individual
presentations and appropriate paper discussants. Session Organizers have the
privileges of nominating discussants for their own sessions but the
Conference Secretariat reserves the right to assign discussants for
presentations.
-
Session organizers are responsible for the arrangement
of three presenters under their proposed topics. Furthermore, they should
ensure that all three presenters register for the conference and are firmly
committed. Please note that all papers to be presented in parallel sessions
must also follow the peer review procedure for acceptance.
-
The session organizer is responsible to inform the
Conference Secretariat the names of their paper presenters and paper titles.
