Call for Papers

Pacific Economic Review (PER) was published by Blackwell Publishers (Oxford, U.K. and Cambridge, MA, USA) since summer 1996. PER is a high quality journal of international reputation. The journal intends to publish papers in all areas of economics, especially articles pertaining to issues on the Pacific Rim. PER is considered as a worthy addition to the list of celebrated journals published by Blackwell, such as Economic Journal, Economica, Review of Economic Studies, and Econometrica.

Notes to the Contributors
PER encourages submission of competent theoretical and empirical papers in all areas of economics, especially rigorous analytical work on economic issues related to the Pacific Rim. Contributions to the journal will be double-blind refereed to ensure impartiality and high quality. Send four copies of the manuscripts containing the telephone and fax numbers, and e-mail addresses of the authors to the appropriate editor. Authors residing in North America should send their manuscripts to the Editor in the US office. Manuscripts from other parts of the world should be sent to the Editor at the Hong Kong office. Manuscripts should be original contributions and must not be submitted anywhere else while being considered for publication in PER. There is a non-refundable submission fee of US$60, which is reduced to US$30 for Association members.
