Chong Chen is now a Research Fellow in Department of Economics and Finance at CityU. He received his Ph.D in Finance from CityU in July of 2018. Chong joined CityU as a master of philosophy student (M.Phil in Finance) in September of 2012, after obtaining bachelor degree in Applied Mathematics from the Communication University of China. In 2010, he joined the China Center for Economic Research (CCER) at Peking University, and got the double bachelor degree in Economics in July of 2012. His current research interests are broadly based, covering the Mergers & Acquisitions, loan contracting, product market competition, corporate innovation, among other issues in the area of corporate finance, investment banking and capital markets etc.
