Ravi KASHYAP is completing his Doctoral thesis in Economics / Finance, under the guidance of an advisory panel comprised of Dr. WANG Yong, Dr. YAN Kit Ming Isabel and Dr. Vikas KAKKAR. His areas of interest include the study of the characteristics and relationships between:

Having worked as a Quantitative Strategist at various financial service firms in New York, including Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Merrill Lynch and Citigroup, he moved to Hong Kong to be part of the Asian growth story. He currently works at Markit, advising investment firms on multi-factor alpha generation models and transaction cost analysis methodologies. He is the founder of Gain Knowledge Group, a forum dedicated to nurture small and medium enterprises.

He holds an undergraduate degree from the National Institute of Technology Calicut, India and a Master of Business Administration degree from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business, New York University. He enjoys playing volleyball and skiing, when he is not gaining knowledge or solving problems for clients.
