Prof. TANG Jiafu visited Department of Management Sciences, CityU, from Nov. 17 – 23, 2014.  

Prof. TANG Jiafu,  Cheung Kong Scholar Chair Professor and Dean of College of Management Sciences and Engineering,  Dongbei  University of Finance and Economics,  visited the Department of Management Sciences,  CityU, from Nov. 17 – 23, 2014.  He is a renowned Chinese scholar for his work in manufacturing systems, service systems and healthcare management. 

Besides intensive interactions with members in MS Dept and Prof Chen’s research team, Prof. Tang  gave a talk to share his research on healthcare management, including the outpatient appointment scheduling and the operating theatre planning problems.  In addition, it was agreed to collaborate research on healthcare management through PhD students and faculty exchanges.
