Venus Lo received her PhD in operations research from the School of Operations Research and Information Engineering at Cornell University. Prior to Cornell, she graduated from the University of Waterloo with a Masters of Mathematics in Combinatorics and Optimization, Masters of Accounting, and Bachelor of Mathematics. Her research focuses on assortment optimization and pricing problems in revenue management. In particular, she is interested in designing efficient algorithms with provable performance guarantees for revenue management problems.
