Professional Accreditation# (Postgraduate Programmes)

Graduates from our postgraduate programmes are recognised by the following major professional associations.

Programme HKICPA ACCA CPA Australia HKICS ICSA
Master of Arts in International Accounting (MAIA) Accredited accountancy degree for the HKICPA's Enhanced Qualification Programme, subject to the meeting the following conditions:

1.  A pass in the seven core courses of the Programme.

​2.  Must take Auditing (AC6541) and Law Relating to Business and Companies (LW5962) as elective courses

3.  Must have studied and passed in previous degree subjects on basic business knowledge, including basic accounting, economics, management, marketing and statistics (or quantitative methods).

Up to 5 papers from the ACCA's professional examination scheme      
Master of Science in Professional Accounting and Corporate Governance (MScPACG) Accredited accountancy degree for the HKICPA's Enhanced Qualification Programme.  Up to 9 papers from the ACCA's professional examination scheme This programme is accredited by CPA Australia.  Students of Professional Accounting Stream will be granted exemptions from all 6 foundation exams, subject to the successful completion of the required fundamental subjects either in bachelor's degree from 211/985 universities or this accredited master's programme. Corporate Governance Stream graduates may enjoy full exemption from the professional examinations of HKICS and ICSA upon graduation from the programme and fulfill the requirements of HKICS.
