Summary
The candidate will join Credit Agricole CIB Global Markets Division, which provides a wide range of Fixed Income, Equity and Securitization products and services for corporates and financial institutions locally and globally:
1. Global Markets Trading manages all cash and derivatives product risks, and is comprised of Macro and Non Linear Trading desks.
2. Global Markets Sales bring together Fixed Income and Equity expertise to service our clients, and is comprised of Flow Sales, Solution Sales, and Corporate Sales teams.
This opening is for those who will complete their degree requirements by Jan 2026 and are ready to start working in Feb 2026. Trainee contract is one year to begin with and renewable for up to two years in total.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Trading Division trainee will join one of the functions above depending on the candidate’s skillset and the teams’ requirements. Main responsibilities include but not limited to the below:
• Support daily operations of the desk: profit & loss calculations; risk positions monitoring, risk limit checks, ticket inputs and reconciliation, client servicing, deal pricing and execution, term sheet drafting, liaison with different teams across the bank to ensure smooth functioning of the business etc.
• Support business development projects: for example, market research, data analysis, presentation material production, spreadsheet improvements etc
• Develop skills required to be a trader, sales, research analyst, or structurer
Requirements
• Master/ Bachelor degree holders, with strong academic background in Accounting, Financial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics or Engineering with less than 12 months' full-time experiences
• Internship experience in capital markets products will be an advantage
• Strong analytical skills and quantitative skills
• Strong communication and problem solving skills with ability to provide solutions
• Strong interests in financial markets
• Strong presentation and marketing skills
• Self-motivated and hardworking with a strong sense of commitment and responsibility
• Responsible, self-initiative, positive attitude, attentive to details & hardworking
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, VBA and other PC applications
• Fluent in both written and spoken English, Mandarin/ Cantonese is a plus

The Intern will support the Asia Pacific (APAC) Financial & Strategic Steering (PIL) team in carrying out its various missions including the Asset Liability Management (ALM), performance monitoring, Fund Transfer Pricing and financial steering. The incumbent will develop an overview of the Bank business in the region, while gaining exposure to a large number of internal stakeholders, from both Front Office and Support Function across Asia Pacific. The start date of internship will be 1 January 2026.
Key Responsibilities
1. Asset & Liability Management (ALM): produce all ALM related indicators used by team to monitor ALM risks. Support team in preparing presentation material such as the ones used for the monthly regional Liquidity Risk Committee, as well as in preparing any ad hoc analysis on hot topics.
2. Financial steering: support senior team members in monitoring the usage of scarce resource within APAC (Capital, Liquidity, RWA, Balance-sheet size etc.), developing metrics and regular ad hoc analyses to identify APAC P&L drivers, and levers for profitability improvements.
3. Tool enhancement: Identify, propose and implement process and tools improvement to lower the production workload of the team, upgrading the existing Excel / Power BI tools/processes, developing new solutions to better address needs of the team
Requirements
• Bachelor or Master student in Engineering or Finance
• Internship experience in Banking preferred, within ALM, Treasury, Finance a plus
• Previous experience in coding/IT projects a must through academic work, previous internship and/or personal projects
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Good presentation, communication, problem solving skills and a team player able to manage project with some autonomy
• A proactive learner and self-starter seeking continuous improvement in all job-related aspects
• Good coding skills/knowledge in at least one coding language
• Good written and oral English
