Actuarial Analyst / Assistant
What the role is?
• Support regular recommendation processes of discretionary benefits, including dividends, bonuses, and non-guaranteed rates. • Provide analysis to management and support business development on par fund business. • Support regular production processes including asset share reporting, fund transfer and maintenance and development of actuarial models. • Support on various governance regarding par funds management enhancement. • Support other actuarial functions and other departments in par fund related items. • Work closely with HKRBC team on par fund management enhancement. • High level of proficiency in Excel, ESG, Prophet/ALS is an advantage • Perform ad hoc projects as assigned by supervisor
What we look for?
• Degree holder in Actuarial Science or equivalent. • Good progress in actuarial examinations. • 2-3 years of working experience in life insurance industry. Fresh graduate would be considered as Contract Actuarial Assistant. • Detail minded, self-motivated, able to work in a team or independently. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Knowledge of Prophet and Alteryx is an advantage. • Experience in HK-specific Par fund management is an advantage. • Good communication and interpersonal skills. • Good command of English and Cantonese.
