The Joseph Lau Non-Local Internship Awards (劉鑾雄境外實習獎) provide support to full-time local undergraduates with financial needs to participate in non-local (Mainland or Overseas) internship programs. This round of application is open for Winter 2025/26 internship participants.
The purpose of the Awards is to help students:

- Improve interpersonal and communication skills in real work environments; and
- Enhance student competitiveness and employability in the global job market.
The Awards shall be offered to full-time local undergraduate students who have met the following criteria:
- Have attained a cGPA of 2.0 or above as at the last Semester B;
- Have possessed promising attributes such as leadership potential, aspiration for advancement, etc.;
- Have been officially offered a non-local internship;
- Have proven financial difficulties; and
- Any other eligibility requirements as specified on the guideline.
The Award is claimed on reimbursement basis and is used mainly to cover airfare, accommodation and fees associated with the non-local internships. For the details of the Awards including eligibility, application and reimbursement procedure, please refer to the guideline for full details.

- Internship offer letter / notification email with name of hosting company and internship period clearly stated along with signature and company stamp
- Latest Academic Transcript
- Recommendation letter from Department [Sample]
- Government Grant/Loan Application Result Notification (if applicable) [Sample]
- Copy of acknowledgement email from Finance Office stating students have provided their bank account information in AIMS [Procedures]
CB only has limited nomination quotas so only shortlisted students will be invited for nomination.
