Biography
]
Particulate matter (PM) has been widely recognized as a major air pollutant that poses severe health threats to millions in the world. It also degrades visibility and affects global climate. In the talk, I will discuss the sources and properties of PM and based on real time PM characterization, present some recent findings in PM pollution in Hong Kong.
顆粒物是重要的大氣污染物，在世界範圍內危害幾百萬人的健康。此外，顆粒物還降低大氣能見度和影響全球氣候。本講座將介紹大氣顆粒物的性質和來源，以及基於實時顆粒物觀測的結果，評估香港大氣顆粒物污染現狀。
