Dr. Lam has over 30 years of international experience in general management, strategy consulting, corporate governance, direct investment, investment banking and fund management across the telecommunications/media/technology ("TMT"), consumer/healthcare, infrastructure/ real estates, energy/resources and financial services sectors. Dr. Lam is also Non-Executive Chairman - Hong Kong and ASEAN Region and Chief Advisor to Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets Asia, and a member of the Committee on Innovation, Technology and Re-Industrialization of the Government of HKSAR, Honorary Advisor to Hong Kong Business Angel Network, Special Advisor to the Asia Pacific Real Estates Association, a member of the Court of City University of Hong Kong, Honorary Chairman - Asia Pacific of CMA Australia, President of Hong Kong-ASEAN Economic Cooperation Foundation, a member of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council Belt and Road Committee, a Board member of Pacific Basin Economic Council, and Vice Chairman of the Business Advisory Council of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific.

Dr. Lam is a Solicitor of the High Court of Hong Kong, a Fellow of the Hong Kong Institute of Arbitrators, the Hong Kong Institute of Directors and CMA Australia, an Honorary Fellow of CPA Australia and an Honorary Fellow of the University of Hong Kong School of Professional and Continuing Education (HKU SPACE).

林博士擁有超過30年在跨國企業之國際管理經驗，具備豐富的上市公司管理、公司管治、策略顧問、投資銀行、直接投資及基金管理方面的經驗，也在電訊媒體高科技、消費市場/醫療、基建/地產、能源/資源及金融服務行業裡的領先企業擔任了董事或總裁、首席營運官及總經理等高管職務。他現為麥格理基礎建設及有形資產之香港及東盟區非執行主席兼亞洲區首席顧問、香港特別行政區政府創新、科技及再工業化委員會委員、香港天使投資者脈絡榮譽顧問、亞太區地產協會特別顧問、香港城市大學顧問委員會委員、澳洲管理會計師公會亞太區榮譽主席、香港-東盟經濟合作基金會會長、香港貿易發展局一帶一路委員會委員、太平洋地區經濟理事會理事、聯合國亞洲及太平洋經濟社會委員會工商諮詢理事會副主席。
