The Department of Management Sciences is pleased to announce that Dr. Venus LO joined us in July 2019. Dr Lo received her PhD in operations research from the School of Operations Research and Information Engineering at Cornell University. Prior to Cornell, she received her Master of Mathematics in Combinatorics and Optimization, Master of Accounting, and Bachelor of Mathematics from the University of Waterloo. Her research focuses on assortment optimization and pricing problems in revenue management. In particular, she is interested in designing efficient algorithms with provable performance guarantees for revenue management problems arising in the current retail environment.
