HK Tech 300 is a flagship innovation and entrepreneurship programme organised by CityUHK for aspiring entrepreneurs within the university community to launch start-ups and ignite their entrepreneurship journey. To help translating research results and intellectual properties into practical applications, this programme has trained over 1800 aspiring entrepreneurs and incubated more than 900 start-up projects, where over 190 start -up companies have received angel funds and over 740 start-up teams received seed funds since 2021. The programme has attracted over 230 experienced industrialists and entrepreneurs to serve as mentors and engaged more than 90 public and private institutions as the strategic partners, co-investment partners and supporting organisations. HK Tech 300 collaborates with the Global EMBA programme by regularly conducting talks to students based on their industry backgrounds. These talks provide our students with valuable insights and solutions for innovation and new technology to transform their businesses. Additionally, HK Tech 300 offers business matching opportunities to introduce relevant HK Tech 300-supported start-ups to our students, helping them explore business opportunities through investments or by acquiring technology and services to enhance efficiency in their companies.
