EMBA students visit renowned companies in Shanghai

The Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) organised a three-day study tour in Shanghai for its “Global Organisations Benchmarking Field Study” course on 15-17 August. The course aims to provide participants with an opportunity to conduct a benchmarking study to examine the critical success factors of selected global organisations.

Led by the EMBA Programme Director Dr John Leung, the group visited a number of famous companies in the city, including tech giant Tencent, video game software development company Unity, Shanghai factory of global food packaging company Huhtamaki, Yunda Express, China Brands Group, as well as Professional E-Gaming. They also paid a visit to the China Europe International Business School.

Dr Leung said the trip was a great success. “Shanghai is a city full of wonders, from classical to modern. We are glad that our EMBA students have identified business opportunities and gained innovative insights there!” he added.
