Mr. George Ren 任然先生
George Ren (任然) leads the decision sciences team at Dumiao (讀秒), a digital lending arm of Pintec (品鈦), one of the most innovative Fintech companies in China. Decision Sciences, as indicated in the name, cares about making decisions scientifically, driven-by data analysis and machine learning, rather than by intuition. The team consists of a group of data scientists who understand data itself as much as how to use data in solving real business problems. Before joining Dumiao in 2016, George Ren spent five years at Capital One, a U.S. banking powerhouse which essentially is the first real "big-data" lending company in the United States. Before Capital One, George spent two-years in Seattle and co-founded a wearable device startup company called Voicelever. George Ren holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from SUNY Binghamton, and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Nanjing University of Posts and Telecom.
