† Combined mode: Local students taking programmes in combined mode can attend full-time (12-18 credit units per semester) or part-time (no more than 11 credit units per semester) study in different semesters without seeking approval from the University. For non-local students, they will be admitted to these programmes for either full-time or part-time studies. Non-local students must maintain the required credit load for their full-time or part-time studies and any changes will require approval from the University.

The MScEBKM programme is offered by the Department of Information Systems, which is the largest of its kind in Hong Kong and one of the largest and most active worldwide. Our professors are of excellent calibre. They master both conceptual and practical knowledge in e-business and several related areas. They have accumulated extensive academic and professional experience and are well versed in innovative teaching methods. In fact, several of our professors rank among the top IS academics worldwide and many have won teaching excellence awards.

We are proud to offer our participants a very strong curriculum that is up-to-date, tailor-made and flexible. You will acquire and apply current, comprehensive and indigenous e-business knowledge. You will have access to a rich collection of courses that are tailor-made to deliver the latest conceptual and practical knowledge in e-business. All courses are newly designed and constantly revised by renowned experts.

International with China Focus

Our international team of professors will provide you with a broad perspective, consolidating knowledge and experience from all over the world. Many of your fellow students will come from China, thus lending their own mainland experience and focus to the programme. In addition, recently admitted students have come from countries as diverse as as Germany, Kazakhstan, Macedonia, Ivory Coast and the USA. Through both our international professors and the international student body, you will gain exposure to a wide variety of different perspectives on e-business. Finally, students on the the MScEBKM programme may elect to participate in a residential trip to China, where you will acquire hands-on knowledge about e-business applications in the mainland.
