Professor Robert Davison received the AIS Fellow Award at the 2019 International Conference of Information Systems (ICIS)
Prof Choon Ling Sia was awarded the 2015 AIS Fellow Award by the Association for Information Systems (AIS).
Dr David Xu received the AIS Early Career Award 2018
Dr Alvin Leung received the AIS Early Career Award 2017
In the first H-Index study in Management Information Systems by Professors Hsinchun Chen of the University of Arizona and Professor Paul Hu of the University of Utah, six faculty at the Information Systems at the City University of Hong Kong are included in the list of researchers whose H-Index is at or above 20 based on Google Scholar. This inclusion of six faculty from CityU is the most from any single university in the world. The next best showing is the University of Arizona with three faculty included in the list. This is another indicator that CityU's IS Department is one of the best in its research impact.
