CityU MBA is committed to providing students with practical, cutting edge managerial practice. Participants will take a total of 19 credit units of compulsory courses plus at least 9 credit units from the Experiential Learning component, and
The Experiential Learning component carries a strong focus on leadership skills and “learning by experiencing”, aiming to create more opportunities for students to gain practical experience through action learning with a global emphasis. Courses fall into three major areas: Activity-Based Learning; Management Practice; and Global Experiential Learning.
- at least 9 credit units from programme elective for General MBA (40 credits), or
- at least 6 credit units from programme elective and 15 credit units (compulsory courses: 6 credit units and elective courses: at least 9 credit units) for One Concentration (49 credits), or
- 30 credit units (compulsory courses: 6 credit units and elective courses: at least 9 credit units from each concentration) for Double Concentrations (58 credits).

Remarks:
- Participants are normally required to complete all compulsory courses before they are allowed to join the MBA Enterprise Diagnostic Residential Trip unless prior approval has been gotten from the Programme Director.
- Courses will be offered in Semester A, B or Summer term. All electives will be offered subject to student demand and staff availability.
