MKT celebrates new office move

A celebration gathering was held by the Department of Marketing (MKT) on 10th floor of Academic 3 to celebrate the relocation of the departmental office on 20th July.

Following a ribbon-cutting ceremony, Prof Chenting Su, Head of MKT, welcomed all guests, faculty, and staff members in the opening remarks. The Department prepared a thank-you cake for Prof Su for his contributions as the Head of the Department for the past six years. On behalf of the Department of Marketing, Prof Haibin Yang, Professor of MKT, presented a greeting card to Prof Su.

Prof Su expressed his gratitude to all the colleagues for their support. “I have confidence in the new Head and believe he will lead the Department to a new height.” Prof Su said.

Prof Houmin Yan, Dean of the College, and Prof Arthur Ellis, Provost of CityU, congratulated the relocation and wished MKT a good start.

The gathering was served with a roasted pig, symbolizing great fortune in the future, along with beverages and other refreshments. Prof Kelvin Yau, Associate Dean of Chow Yei Ching School of Graduate Studies, Prof Mary Pang and Prof William Wan, Associate Deans of the College, Prof Cheong Heon Yi, Acting Head of the Department of Accountancy, Prof Frank Chen and Dr Geoffrey Tso, Head and Associate Head of the Department of Management Sciences, respectively, and other CityU staff members also attended the gathering.
