Adler Jewellery Internship Award


Regulations

Purpose

To enable undergraduates of Marketing Department, College of Business, to:

1. have real-life working experience during summer vacation (normally from June to August);

2. demonstrate the ability to integrate and apply knowledge and skills developed in academic courses to real-world situation of a specific business organization;

3. exhibit self-initiative, integrity and professionalism to successfully complete internship assignments; and

4. reflect on personal and professional development and needs and set strategic goals for advancing along an intended career path.

Value and Number of Awards

One internship award will be granted during the summer of 2014 and the value of which is HK$15,000 upon the completion of 2-month internship (mid-June to mid-August) by the students. Same award will be given in the summer of 2015.

Eligibility

All students who are full-time UGC-funded local students and have met the following criteria:

1. are undergraduate students (Year 2 or above) major in Marketing / China Business / Marketing Information Management;

2. have achieved a CGPA of 2.7 or above in the last semester / term of study;

3. be socially mature and responsible;

4. are committed to complete the entire internship training with satisfactory performance.
