Adler Jewellery Marketing Plan Award
Regulations
Adler Jewellery Ltd. has kindly established a marketing plan award in the University in the 2014/2015. The marketing plan award is to encourage students majoring in Marketing to have creative and practical proposal on marketing-related topics. The following award regulations shall apply as of 2016/2017:
- The Award shall be known as "Adler Jewellery Marketing Plan Award".
- There shall be ONE award per year and the value of the award is HK$25,000.
- The award recipient(s) should be full-time UGC-funded undergraduate students major in Marketing/China Business/Marketing Information Management.
- Eligible students shall be invited to form a team (with 3-4 members) to submit their proposals in from of PowerPoint presentation to the Department of Marketing for shortlisting. Shortlisted candidates shall then be invited to attend a presentation session, with the participation of the donor.
- The award shall be made by the Department of Marketing upon donor's confirmation.
- Confirmation shall be sought from the donor in summer 2014 on whether or not the award will be continued for the following academic year.
Remarks:
With an objective to nurture our students and to promote caring culture, the Community Relations Committee of the University Council has recommended that each award recipient is expected to make an annual donation of at least HK$200 to City University of Hong Kong for student support via CityU Alumni Giving Club when they are in employment after graduation. This term has been incorporated into all scholarship/prize/award/bursary schemes, whether they are donated by external donors or contributed by University funding, with effect from February 2008.
