Between July and August every year since 1997, the project team conducts a large scale survey involving more than 10,000 consumers in Hong Kong to collect the necessary information for the construction of the HKCSI index. The 1997 results are for the development and validation of the index and will not be released. The following table shows the HKCSI and highlights the CSI of some products from 2001 to 2010.
